Set Up Triggered Auto-Push Notifications

Triggered auto-push enables businesses to send push notifications automatically at a defined event and time of their choosing. For instance, you can specify a notification to be sent when a customer installs a card or redeems a coupon. Here’s how to use this feature effectively.

Accessing the Custom Auto-Push Section

Digital Wallet > Left-Hand Menu > Push

  1. Navigate to the Push screen by selecting it from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click on the Custom Auto-Push tab located at the top of the screen.

Setting Up a Triggered Auto-Push

  1. Select an Event Trigger

    • Under the Add Auto-Push section, choose the event that will trigger the push notification from the Select trigger to start auto-push dropdown.

  2. Define Notification Details

    • Fill in the required fields to customize the notification:

      • Message Field: Enter the content of the push notification to be sent to the customer.

      • Message Timing: Specify the delay after the trigger event by entering a value in the Message to be displayed after field.

      • Time Unit: Choose the time measure (e.g., minutes, hours, days) from the corresponding dropdown.

  3. Apply to Cards

    • Use the Cards field to select the card(s) to which this triggered notification applies. For example, you might select a loyalty card for notifications about rewards.

  4. Save the Configuration

    • Once all the fields are filled and selections are made, click the Save button to activate the auto-push setup.
