How to downgrade:

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens when I reach 25 loyalty members?

If your 14-day trial has ended and you reach 25 members, you'll be prompted to start your paid subscription for whichever plan you selected (Starter, Grow, or Pro). However, we won't automatically charge you. You decide when you're ready to pay and continue growing.

What if I have more than 25 members when I sign up?

You'll still get a 14-day free trial to test Perkstar. After your trial ends, you'll need to choose a paid plan to continue since you already have 25+ members.

Can I continue free after my 14-day trial?

Yes! If you have fewer than 25 loyalty members when your 14-day trial ends, you can continue using Perkstar for free indefinitely. You'll only need to upgrade when you exceed 25 members.

Can I try different plans during the free period?

Yes! All plans (Starter, Grow, and Pro) include a 14-day free trial. You can start with any plan to test its features. If you want to change plans, you can do so at any time during your trial period.

Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?

Yes, you can switch billing frequencies. If switching from monthly to annual, you'll pay for the full year upfront and save money. If switching from annual to monthly, the change takes effect when your annual period ends.

What happens if I downgrade and have more locations/cards than the new plan allows?

You'll need to deactivate the excess locations or cards before the downgrade takes effect. We'll notify you and give you time to make adjustments.

Can I cancel my plan?

Yes, you can cancel at any time. For monthly plans, you won't be charged again after the current month ends. For annual plans, you'll retain access until the end of your paid year.

Do I get a refund if I cancel?

Monthly plans: No refund for the current month, but no future charges. Annual plans: No refunds on annual subscriptions, but you keep access until the year ends.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and debit cards. All payments are processed securely.

Is there a setup fee?

No setup fees for any plan. The Grow and Pro plans include "done-for-you setup" as part of the plan features.

Can I add more staff users than my plan allows?

The Starter plan doesn't include staff access. Grow allows up to 10 users, and Pro allows up to 25. If you need more users, consider upgrading to the next plan.

What's included in "done-for-you setup"?

Professional assistance configuring your loyalty program, including card design, program rules, and initial campaign setup. Available in Grow and Pro plans.

Can I upgrade just for one month?

Yes, you can upgrade to a higher plan at any time. If you later want to downgrade, you can do so, and the change will take effect at the end of the billing period.

What are API & Webhooks used for in the Pro plan?

APIs and webhooks allow you to integrate Perkstar with your POS system, website, or other business software for seamless data flow and automation.

How do I know which plan is right for me?

Since all plans include a 14-day trial (plus free usage under 25 members), you can start with the plan that best matches your business needs. If you have multiple locations or need team access, start with Grow or Pro to test those features free. If you're unsure, start with Starter and upgrade later as you identify needs for more locations, team access, or advanced features.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data remains accessible until the end of your billing period. After that, your account is deactivated. Export any important data before your subscription ends.

Can I try a higher plan before committing?

Yes! All plans (including Grow and Pro) include a 14-day free trial. You can start with any plan to test all its features. Simply select Grow or Pro when creating your account and you'll have full access to all features during your trial.

Do prices include VAT?

Prices shown are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be added at checkout where applicable based on your location.

Can agencies manage multiple clients on one account?

The Pro plan with API access is best for agencies. However, you may want to create separate accounts for each client for better organization and billing separation.
