Using Webhooks with Perkstar

The Webhooks feature in Perkstar allows you to integrate with external platforms by sending real-time updates based on specific events. Follow the steps below to view, create, and manage Webhooks effectively.

Accessing the Webhooks Section

  1. Login:

    • Begin by logging into your Perkstar account.

  2. Navigate to Settings:

    • Open the left-hand menu and click on the Settings icon to access the Settings module.

  3. Select Webhooks:

    • From the tabs displayed at the top of the Settings screen, click on Webhooks to enter the Webhooks management section.

Viewing Existing Webhooks

  1. Webhooks Table:

    • All existing Webhooks are displayed in a table format.

    • Key details for each webhook include:

      • URL: The destination URL where events are sent.

      • Status: Indicates whether the webhook is active.

      • Event Count: Displays the number of events triggered for the webhook.

Adding a New Webhook

  1. Open Add Webhook Popup:

    • Click the Add Webhook button at the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. Enter Webhook Details:

    • In the popup that appears, enter the URL of the external platform or endpoint you wish to connect with.

  3. Select Trigger Events:

    • Mark the checkbox next to the events that should trigger the webhook.

    • Examples of events include customer sign-ups, card installations, or referrals.

  4. Enable Webhook:

    • Use the Status toggle button to mark the webhook as enabled.

  5. Save Webhook:

    • Once all required fields are completed, click the Add Webhook button.

    • The new webhook is added to the Webhooks list and becomes active immediately.
