How to Create a Cashback Card
Design a cashback card to reward your customers with every purchase. Follow these steps to create, customize, and activate your card
Getting Started
Log In: Sign in to your Perkstar account to access your dashboard.
Open the Cards Module: From the left-hand menu, click the Cards icon.
Start Creating:
Use a preloaded template for a quick setup.
Or, click Create from Scratch to build a card tailored to your business
Step 1: Select Your Card Type
Choose Cashback Card from the list of card types.
Click Continue to move to the settings stage.
Step 2: Configure Card Settings
Set Language: Choose your preferred language for the card.
Define Lifetime Points:
Set the validity of lifetime points for cashback rewards.
Choose a fixed term after bonuses are earned or define a custom duration.
Specify Locations: Add the business locations where customers can use the card.
Cardholder Tiers:
Create tiered rewards by setting tier names, spend thresholds and cashback percentages.
Add or remove tiers as needed.
Customize the Card Issuing Form:
Add fields like customer name or email.
Mark fields as mandatory or unique if necessary.
Add Tracking: Use UTM tags to track traffic from specific marketing channels.
Enable Privacy Options:
Include a privacy policy or consent fields for processing personal data.
Once settings are complete, click Continue to proceed to design.
Step 3: Design Your Card
Branding:
Upload your logo and add an image or colour for the card’s central background.
Add Icons:
Choose from preloaded icons or upload custom designs for added personalization.
Choose Colors:
Customize the card background, text, and central background colours to align with your brand.
Once the design is complete, click Continue.
Step 4: Input Card Information
Add Descriptions:
Write a short description of the cashback card and its purpose.
Reward Details:
Define the points or cashback amount awarded for each use.
Activate Referrals (Optional):
Set referral bonuses and assign points for new users and referrers.
Service Details:
Enter the service name offered via the card.
Add Active Links:
Include website URLs, phone numbers, or email addresses.
Terms of Use:
Add or link to terms and conditions.
When finished, click Finish to save.
Step 5: Save & Preview
Preview the Card:
Scan the QR code to see how the card looks to customers.
Activate the Card:
Click Activate Card to make it live and ready to use.
